Privacy Policy
Discretion is part of how we practise. This policy explains what information this website and our firm collect, and how it is handled.
Information collected through this website
This website does not require accounts and does not store form submissions on a server. The contact form composes an email in your own mail application; the information you send arrives in our office email and nowhere else. Our hosting provider may collect standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and performance purposes.
Information collected in an engagement
Providing accounting and tax services requires personal and financial information — identification details, income records, and related documents. This information is collected with your knowledge and consent, used only to deliver the services you engage us for, and handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation and the confidentiality obligations of the CPA profession.
How information is protected
Client information is stored securely, access is limited to those working on your file, and documents are exchanged through secure channels once an engagement begins. We recommend against sending sensitive identifiers (such as your Social Insurance Number) through the website contact form or ordinary email.
Disclosure
We do not sell or trade personal information. Information is disclosed only as required to deliver services you have authorized (for example, filing with the Canada Revenue Agency), or where required by law or professional regulation.
Retention and access
Working papers and client records are retained as required by law and professional standards. You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting us at Moncef@mbprofessional.ca.
